Mobile Messages to Screen
Mobile Messages To Screen (MMTS) from Digital Antics is a software application designed for the dedicated task of receiving and playlisting MMS and SMS messages for big screen display at any function.
MMTS seamlessly fills the void between the mobile MMS delivery infrastructure and live event video display technology. Messages typically arrive via e-mail or a web browser interface. MMTS then manages this incoming information using a familiar, Outlook style message inbox which has been optimised for the management and viewing of SMS and, in particular, MMS messages.
The system can be hired from Digital Antics as a turnkey package including hardware, software and operator. For larger festival installations the MMTS computers will typically feed a downstream portable production unit or screen switching system which will output to LED, Projection or Plasma screen for the audience.
Key features:
- Support for both SMS and MMS messages.
- Simple user interface, makes it easy to manage and playlist MMS and SMS as well as canned stills.
- Multiple POP3 mail account management including quick backup swap in case of server failure.
- Automatic rule based sorting of incoming SMS and MMS messages in to a dynamic categorised and date/time sorted folder structure.
- Dedicated live transmission and operator display screens (multi-head).
- Multi-channel option offering more than one live transmission display output for more creative screen arrangements.
- Exact play timings with operator’s countdown timer for accurate time slot management in a tightly stage managed environment such as a large festival or broadcast setup.
- Playlist capability. Automatically calculates playback time and provides a playout countdown on transmission. This allows the MMS/SMS play slots to be carefully calculated and managed.
- Robust error management. Required for a live system where error messages cannot be displayed on screen at any time.
- Date and time sorting of incoming messages.
- Custom message sorting rules.
- Message Export (CSV, RTF, HTML).
